The 4th Annual Tailgate for the Cure was hosted at Left Field Meeting Space on November 5th, 2011 prior to the Pitt vs. Cincinnati football game. Over 250 people attended the event that featured live music by Shades of June, an auction, prizes, kid activities, and all sorts of tournaments, including - ahem surprise - a beer pong championship. All proceeds benefited the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research.
Smith Brothers supported the event and a number of people at the agency contributed time, money, and items for the auction. In all, the Tailgate raised nearly $13,000 to fight cancer. And a great time was had by all. Hail to Pitt!
Smith Brothers Agency supports Refresh Pittsburgh, a community of designers & developers working to refresh the creative, technical, and professional culture of web designers and developers in Pittsburgh. Refresh Pittsburgh hopes to bring people together to share what they know through software and technology demonstrations, panel discussions, and open-ended Q&A sessions. Bi-monthly meet-ups are hosted in our own Left Field Meeting Space.
